Sayglow
Privacy Policy
Sayglow is a camera app for recording videos while reading a script. It is built so that your videos, your face and your scripts never leave your iPhone. This policy explains what that means in practice.
The short version
- We do not collect, store or sell any personal data.
- Sayglow has no account, no sign-in and no server in this version.
- There are no analytics, advertising or tracking tools in the app.
- Videos, audio and scripts stay on your device.
Camera and microphone
Sayglow asks for access to the camera and microphone so it can record video with sound. Beauty filters and face detection run entirely on your iPhone. No image, video frame, audio or face data is sent anywhere.
Photos
Sayglow asks for permission to add videos to your Photos library, so it can save the videos you record. It does not read the photos or videos already in your library.
Scripts
Scripts you write or import are stored only on your device, inside the app. If you delete the app, your scripts are deleted with it. Your device backups (for example iCloud Backup, if you have turned it on) may include app data, as they do for any app; that is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Purchases
Sayglow Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, email address or payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Apple of whether your subscription is active.
Children
Sayglow does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
A future version of Sayglow may add optional script sync with an account. If that happens, we will update this policy before the feature ships and describe exactly what is stored. Using the app without an account will always remain possible.
